The Book-of-the-Month Campaign began in November 2005 in grades K-12 of the Holyoke Public Schools. The selected Book-of-the-Month is a picture book read aloud to the students and then the theme or message of the book is discussed. Follow-up discussion questions are generated for grades K-3, 4-8, and 9-12.
