The Book-of-the-Month Campaign began in November 2005 in grades K-8 of the Holyoke Public Schools. The selected Book-of-the-Month is a picture book read aloud to the students and then the theme or message of the book is discussed. Follow-up discussion questions and activities are generated for each title.
