Holyoke Public Schools is providing every student in grades 9-12 a Chromebook computer that will be assigned to them for their use both at home and at school during the school year. A device distribution event began today, January 2, and continues tomorrow until 3 p.m.
HHS North and Dean students should stop by HHS North, 500 Beech Street, either today, January 2 or Friday, January 3 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. to pick up their Chromebook in the school gymnasium on the third floor. Staff from the technology department will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.
If your child is not able to pick up their Chromebook by January 3, there will be opportunities for them to get a Chromebook when they return to school after the holiday break.
HPS is providing assigned Chromebooks so that every high school student has access to a personal learning device to use at school and home as part of our commitment to equitable access to technology.
Each school will also continue to maintain classroom carts with Chromebooks and charging stations for students whose devices may be in need of servicing or repairs.
