It was a beautiful sunny day filled with music and smiles as more than 100 fourth- and fifth grade students sang, danced, and performed a variety of musical numbers as part of E.N. White School’s spring concert under direction of music teacher Bridget Ambers.
In all, the fourth graders sang four musical numbers, while the fifth graders performed two woodwind pieces, one original bass arrangement, five orchestra pieces, and two ensembles. Two HHS North graduating seniors also joined in for a cello performance with the fifth graders.
Teachers from the Community Music School provided support for the students as they prepared for the concert, through a partnership program with Holyoke Public Schools.
