On Tuesday afternoons, Lawrence School becomes a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) workshop for children and families.
Dream Designer is a free, drop-in program that takes place on Tuesday afternoons from 4-5 p.m. at Lawrence School through March 11. While pre-registration is not required, participating children must be accompanied by an adult.
The program is open to Holyoke children between the ages of 35 months and 5 years.
Participants get hands-on with guided projects and experiments that emphasize foundational STEM skills, including creating marble mazes and building miniature boats.
Dream Designer is offered in partnership with the Holyoke & Chicopee Family & Community Program and is funded by the Coordinated Family And Community Engagement Grant from the Massachusetts Department Of Early Education And Care (EEC).
