Seven graduating seniors were celebrated on Friday, May 17 during this year’s Future Teachers Signing Day. This annual ceremony celebrates HPS students who are committing to careers in education. The event, held at Summit View Pavilion, brought together students, families, educators, and community members to honor the next generation of educators and to encourage them to return to Holyoke as teachers after earning their certifications.

During the dinner, City Councilor Tessa Murphy-Romboletti spoke words of encouragement, sharing her own story of returning to Holyoke after college to begin her career. Councillor Murphy-Romboletti and State Representative Pat Duffy were among the mentors present at the dinner to give advice.
