Student at table display for evolution of makeup

With graduation quickly approaching, students at Holyoke High School North Campus are wrapping up their final projects.

Capstone projects, an academic tradition at HHS North, make up a significant portion of a student’s final grade. The projects provide opportunities for students to dive deep into topics that interest them and then manifest their research and ideas into presentations, displays, or written form. To earn their grade, the student’s critical research and presentation skills are evaluated by teachers and peers.

Three students spoke recently about their Capstone projects—which covered the evolution of makeup, living with ADHD, and the potential of solar energy—captured in this short video.
