Although school is out for the summer, healthy meals are available at no cost for kids and teens starting July 1. The Summer Eats program in partnership with Sodexo has added additional locations this year, expanding to eight locations across the city of Holyoke. Some locations will feature the HPS food truck, while others will have pop-up tents with staff members in uniform.
All locations will serve lunch Monday through Friday through August 16 (except on Thursday, July 4 because of the holiday):
Carlos Vega Park, Hamilton St., 11–11:45 a.m.
Community Field, Community Field Rd., 11 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
Heritage Park, 221 Appleton St., 11 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
Holyoke Community, College, 303 Homestead Ave., 11 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
Holyoke Hills, Tokeneke Rd., 11:55 a.m.–12:40 p.m.
Holyoke Public Library, 250 Chestnut St., 11 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
Springdale Park, 844 Main St., 12:50–1:30 p.m.
Veteran’s Park – Farmer’s Market, Hampden St. & Maple St., 11 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
Children do not need to pre-register, and no identification is required.
