Today’s return to school for students in grades 1-12 signaled a strong start for the 2024-25 school year, as teachers and staff welcomed students to their new classrooms with smiles, hugs, and joyful good cheer. While students and staff adjusted to their new schedules and routines, across all 12 of the district’s school buildings, students are already engaged in learning in preparation for a productive school year.
On hand to greet arriving students were our partners and friends from the Holyoke Fire Department, Holyoke Police Department, OneHolyoke, Holyoke YMCA, Enlace de Familias, Pa’lante, and Holyoke City Hall.
Students in PreK and kindergarten will start their new school year next week, on Wednesday, September 4.
