Policy review and development is a core tenant of the School Committee's Capacity Building Plan. At the May 13, 2024 meeting, the Local Control Subcommittee set a goal for the HSC to review all district policies as part of its preparations to resume full governance of the district. These include both existing policies in the HSC policy manual as well as policies that have been developed by HPS under receivership.
