Dr. William Cepeda—the creator of Afro-Rican jazz and four-time Grammy nominee—joined Holyoke High School North’s instrumental music students for a series of workshops in June. The Puerto Rican musician and composer brought several of his own compositions to share with band and string students as they prepared for a performance of his works during school on Wednesday, June 14. His work with students is captured in this 7-minute video.
