Holyoke Public Schools is hosting its first quarter Attendance Award Celebration in the cafeteria at Holyoke High School North from 5:30-7 p.m. on Tuesday, December 5.
In total, 71 students representing all 12 HPS schools have been invited to participate, along with their families, to recognize their consistently excellent school attendance or their significantly improved attendance over the course of this school year.
“This is an important celebration for our students who have been working hard this year to be in school on time each day and ready to learn,” said HPS Assistant Superintendent Stephen Mahoney. “While we are celebrating the achievements of these 71 students during Tuesday’s event, there are many others in each of our schools who have also worked hard this year to develop and maintain good attendance. Each of these students are commended for their efforts, as well.”
