Join Holyoke Public Schools and FoodCorps of Massachusetts and Rhode Island at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, June 6 at Donahue School for the first-ever Holyoke Elementary Fun Fair. For kids, there will be games, crafts, and seed planting. Families will also find a wealth of local resources on gardening, farming, and food access resources. Participants can also enjoy a free taco dinner with chicken and locally grown butternut squash. Just look for the HPS food truck with colorful graphics of fruits and vegetables on the side .
Local food organizations—including Holyoke Food and Equity Collective, Nuestras Raíces, and Community Involved in Sustaining Agriculture—will be present to share more about their services and missions. RSVP via this form.
