Prepare to laugh, scream, and get a little bit green at the Holyoke High School Music Department’s production of “Little Shop of Horrors,” playing April 3-6 in the HHS North auditorium.
When Seymour (played by Aidan Fontanez-Courchesne) finds a mysterious plant after a total eclipse of the sun, strange things start happening at Mr. Mushnik’s (Eben Beaudry) flower shop. Meanwhile, Audrey (Ashanty Provost) dreams of leaving Skid Row and her boyfriend, the sadistic dentist Orin Scrivello (Linken Geddis). As the mysterious plant “Audrey II” starts to grow, audience members should be prepared for the hijinks and horror that will ensue.
The curtain goes up at 7:30 p.m. for performances Thursday through Saturday, with a 2 p.m. matinee on Sunday. Tickets, sponsorships, and program ads are now available. Tickets are $8 for students and seniors and $10 for the public.
