Join Holyoke Public Schools, Sodexo, and FoodCorps of Massachusetts and Rhode Island at 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 10 at Donahue School for the second annual Holyoke Fun Fair. The free event is open to all Holyoke Public Schools families, and offers free flowers and vegetable plants. For kids, there will be games, crafts, and seed planting. For adults and older children, there are a wealth of local resources on gardening, farming, and food access, including a container garden workshop.
Local food organizations—including Nuestras Raíces, Community Involved in Sustaining Agriculture (CISA), and the MA Food for MA Kids Coalition—will be present to share more information about their services and mission.
It is not necessary to register in advance. Spanish-language interpretation will be provided.
