She did graduate as plannedāAND she was also singled out by Superintendent Anthony Soto in recognition of her hard work throughout the year when he awarded her a Superintendentās Excellence Award. OA instructional coach Gerardo Orbe nominated Ginellis for this award. āAt the start of the school year, Ginellis set a goal to graduate this year. Since then, she has been working very hard at it and has made great progress. She produced some great work, including an interview and profile piece of a relative of hers.ā

It was fun for all at the first-ever Holyoke Elementary Farm Fun Fair! š§āš¾ Students and families that attended the event at Donahue School were entertained, educated, and nourished thanks to FoodCorps, who hosted the event. Representatives from local food nonprofits shared resources and seeds, while kids enjoyed activities like āpin the tomato on the vineā and decorating garden stones. The HPS food truck was on site to serve a taco dinner with locally-sourced ingredients.
